In 1982, he started contributing social cartoons to various Telugu periodicals. This dual life continued till 1989. A technician by day, by evening he would metamorphose into a cartoonist. 1989 changed all that. That year, his first editorial cartoon appeared in The Statesman . And Venkat decided that henceforth, his hobby would be his vocation. For three years, he drew for The Statesman . In 1993, he joined Newstime as their staff cartoonist. And since then, has been making Andhra Pradesh chuckle every morning. |
