Cartoons on Climate – Exhibition and Workshop
Indian Institute of Cartoonists, in collaboration with British
Council is organizing a one day workshop for budding cartoonists on 5th
March 2010. A noted British Cartoonist, Mr.
Michal Boncza Ozdowski will be giving a lecture and demonstration on
the theme of CLIMATE CHANGE. This will
be followed by an open discussion and talk about practical techniques and hand
on training.
As an improptu
cartoonist Mr. Michal contributed regularly to a

programme is part of British Council’s Low Carbon
Futures Project which aims to mitigate the effects of climate change.
We invite applications by post or
email, from interested youngsters aged between 18-35years, along with a few of
their recently drawn cartoons. The
candidates should be able to speak, read and write in English. 30-35 candidates will be selected by a panel
of experts to participate in the workshop. The applicants should mention their
name, postal addresses, contact number, email ID and also a brief note on their
love for cartoons. The selected
candidates will be informed by post or email. Last date to submit the
applications: 15.02.2010.
The selected candidates should make
their own arrangements for their travel and stay in
